Seminar on Intellectual Property Audit & Due Diligence
Intellectual Property (IP) assets are important to businesses of all sizes which strive to maintain a competitive edge. A thorough understanding of your IP assets - their creation, application, efficiency, uniqueness, exclusivity, enforcement and valuation is essential to properly utilize these assets to maintain market dominance, sustainability and continuing profitability.
The Intellectual Property Department (IPD) and The Law Society of Hong Kong jointly published the "Intellectual Property Audit & Due Diligence Booklet", with an aim to facilitate businesses, particularly SMEs, in understanding the process and the benefits that IP audit and due diligence would bring about prior to engaging in IP trading activities.
With the support of The Law Society of Hong Kong, IPD invited the author of the booklet, Mr Kenny KS Wong, Chairman of the Intellectual Property Committee, The Law Society of Hong Kong, to speak for a “Seminar on Intellectual Property Audit & Due Diligence” to have in-depth discussion on the topic.
