The first WIPO Technology and Innovation Support Centre (TISC) in Hong Kong, known as the Hong Kong Technology and Innovation Support Centre (HKTISC), has officially commenced operation after recognition by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) at the end of 2025. Hosted by the Hong Kong Productivity Council, HKTISC, with the support of the Government, will focus on providing specialised services such as patent search and analysis for the protection of scientific research results and enhanced support to the innovation & technology (I&T) sector, while promoting IP trading at the same time.  HKTISC also helps nurture local I&T talent well versed in patent knowledge.
