IPD is committed to ensuring that all personal data provided under this application are handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Purpose of Collection: The personal data provided will be used for processing your application and if registered, future correspondence in relation to promotional activities for IP protection and/or IP trading whether organised by IPD solely or in conjunction with any third parties.

Transfer of Personal Data: The personal data collected will be kept in confidence, however, they may be disclosed to other Government departments, organisations and service contractors that are directly involved in this scheme for the purposes of collection above mentioned.

Access to/Correction of Personal Data: In accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to request access to and correct the personal data provided. Requests should be made in writing to the Personal Data (Privacy) Officer of the IPD.
