This Session is organised by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Secretariat and the Intellectual Property Department of the HKSARG on the second day of the Business of Intellectual Property Asia Forum (BIP Asia).
Intellectual Property (IP) is a driver for economic growth in the arts, cultural and creative industries and for cultural exchanges across economies through market forces. This half-day Session will bring together IP and cultural policy makers, regulators, cultural related agencies, experts and enterprises from ASEAN and Hong Kong, China to explore IP commercialisation and IP trading in relation to the arts, cultural, and creative industries. Highlighting the latest policy updates and initiatives in managing, trading and licensing IP, along with cases that illustrate the use of IP for business opportunities, this Session will promote cultural exchanges and collaboration which are conducive to business and investment.
