This course aims to introduce the basic concepts, forms of protection and legal basis of trade secrets, the application of trade secrets in business and the common protection measures for enterprises.

  • What is a trade-secret?
  • Why is trade secret protection necessary?
  • What are the requirements for trade secret protection?
  • What are the rights conferred by trade secrets?
  • Is it possible to sell and license trade secrets?
  • What are the remedies provided to the holder of secret information?
  • Trade secret enforcement and defense against allegation of trade secret misappropriation

  • What protection is provided against the use of secret information by employees or former employees?
  • Notes on the content of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)
