The Trade Marks Registry is going to conduct a workshop on 12 December 2025 to introduce the Thirteenth Edition, Version 2026 of the International Classification of Goods and Services (“Thirteenth Edition”) which will be applied in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on 1 January 2026 for the purpose of registration of trade marks.

    • Introduction to the use of the Thirteenth Edition
    • Major classification changes to be made by the Thirteenth Edition
    • Briefing on the changes to be made in the Trade Marks Registry’s Cross Search List resulting from the entry into force of the Thirteenth Edition
    • Introduction to the reclassification of goods and services in accordance with the Thirteenth Edition
